Roseville Quilt
| Block #8: |
When following the directions for the Arch cut the strips 1 1/2" wide and iron the freezer paper to the RS. |
| Block #11: |
I was rushing to get the quilt together for photography and assembled the checkerboards on the bottom of #11 incorrectly. The color picture of the checkerboard is wrong. |
| Block #12: |
The measurement 10" x 4" does not include Block A. Please wait to join block #2 and #3 until block #13 is finished. The Arch is the only appliqued checkerboard. all others are set in. The color picture shows the left instead of the right. My photographer shot the left side of the quilt instead of the right and I didn't notice it when I was designing the covers. |
| Block #13: |
Save this for assembling the quilt pattern:
D. Sew two blue checkerboards to one strip of checkerboards. Repeat. Sew the new strips together at the two blue checkerboards. You will have 20 checkerboards with four blue in the middle. Sew to the bottom of Block #11. The color photo is incorrect.
H. The left side #3, #1, #9, and #10 start and end with blue checkerboards. (Sew a strip of 24 checkerboards together, start with the blue and end with ecru. Repeat. Join these two new strips together at the ecru checkerboards and sew to the left side. You will have 48 checkerboards with 2 ecru in the middle. Repeat for the right side.)
Example: [A drawing will go here]
Check Quilt Layout at block #13. The color picture is wrong.
